Russian president Vladimir Putin embraced figure skater Yevgeny Plushenko on the ice and whispered into his ear after the the hosts won gold in the team figure skating competition. Plushenko stared directly into the camera during the embrace, causing one viewer to notice that it looked like the final scene from Lost in Translation.
