Twenty-four years ago today, a paleontologist named Sue Hendrickson discovered some very old bones in the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in South Dokota. They were, in fact, 65 million years old. The skeleton that she and Peter Larson eventually unearthed belonged to a Tyrannosaurus rex that once measured an astounding 42 feet long and stood 13 feet high—at the hips. Here, in the premier of the film Dinasaur 13, watch a clip of the T. rex's discovery.
