Duke's Jabari Parker, a freshman, announces he will enter the NBA draft after one season in Durham that ended with a first-round NCAA tournament defeat to Mercer.  

3. Stanley Cup Playoffs

Chicago and St. Louis enter the third overtime of Game 1 of their first-round series before the Blues' Alex Steen scores the game-winning goal. That's 100-plus minutes. Someone refuel the Zamboni before Game 2.     

4. Player Boycott  Football players at Minnesota State end a one-day boycott in support of their interim coach after their head coach, wrongly terminated after a bizarre child pornography charge, is reinstated. No word yet on the status of Dauber and Luther.  

5. Air Jordan XX9

Nike's unveils its latest model of the popular shoe, which will retail for $225. The upper will be woven in Italy, then the shoe will be put together in Asia before being sold—and later stolen—in the U.S.
